PRAYER REQUESTS

As we lift one another up, we encourage everyone to pray for our brothers and sisters. Many in our congregation are currently facing health challenges, and your prayers and support mean so much during this time. Let’s continue to surround our church family with love and faith, trusting that God hears every prayer.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
James 5:16

  • Pray for Amanda Lowther who is having an Arteriogram on Monday June 8th to see if the brain Aneurysm she has is malignant. 6/7
  • Please continue to pray for Jazmyne Barney's mom to recover and for the doctors to place on the treatment plan that will be best for her healing. 6/1
  • Please continue to pray for Laurel Cummings & Jonas Neal's family as Laurel's brother-in-law, Russ, who was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer, and has decided to receive cancer treatments. He is now a direct admission from radiology / oncology to the Emergency Department. When a room becomes available in the Community Care unit, he will be staying there for the duration of his treatments. 6/1

Ongoing Prayers

  • Prayers for family and friends battling cancer; please pray for treatment to be effective and complete healing as they go through this challenge:
    • Alesia Harris - healing from breast cancer and kidney complications. To support see Lorrie Jenkins. 
    • Michelle Townes - healing from breast cancer, the tumor is invasive and has spread to 4 of Michelle's lymph nodes. ** An update as of 6/1** Radiation treatments are ending June 17th. Please pray that the side effects clear up to eat without pain. To support Michelle and her family as she continues treatment, please visit the mealtrain.
    • Miller Douglas - On his last test, the tumors are growing and they are trying a new medication to stop the growth. Pray for healing.
