PRAYER REQUESTS

As we lift one another up, we encourage everyone to pray for our brothers and sisters. Many in our congregation are currently facing health challenges, and your prayers and support mean so much during this time. Let’s continue to surround our church family with love and faith, trusting that God hears every prayer.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

  • Pray for Anne Conway’s stepmom, also named Anne. She's been battling pneumonia and missed her own birthday celebration and Thanksgiving. Pray for healing so she does not need to be hospitalized. 12/7

  • Pray for the Minton Family as Linda's mother, Norma McConnell passed away. Obituary is here. 11/30
  • Pray for Michelle Townes was admitted to the hospital yesterday with diverticulitis and a stomach infection as well.  She will probably be in the hospital until Wednesday, so please pray for quick healing for Michelle as she continues to navigate chemo for her breast cancer. 11/17
  • Pray for Vaysha Ramsey-Anderson asks prayers for her mental health struggles to improve and for her doctors to figure out what’s going on with her chronic illnesses and pain 11/16
  • Pray for Anna Boyce of our Primetime ministry. She was admitted to Jewish Hospital on Wednesday with extreme back pains and high bloodpressure. Pray for the Dr’s to figure out all that is going on and to give her healing and relief. 11/16
  • Pray for Brie and Jacob Millers family, the father of Bries stepdad passed away. 11/16

Ongoing Prayers

  • Prayers for family and friends battling cancer; please pray for treatment to be effective and complete healing as they go through this challenge:
  • LaShelle Smith - healing from metastasis to her liver and spine. This is incredibly hard news for her and her family to process. She appreciates your prayers and cards, however, no phone calls at this time. Please direct any questions to Marina Hopkins. 
  • Alesia Harris - healing from breast cancer and kidney complications. To support see Lorrie Jenkins. 
  • Michelle Townes - healing from breast cancer, the tumor is invasive and has spread to 4 of Michelle's lymph nodes. To support Michelle and her family as she starts treatment, please visit the mealtrain.
  • Miller Douglas - On his last test, the tumors are growing and they are trying a new medication to stop the growth. Pray for healing.
